Storm On The Sea of Galilee, bronze frame

The Framing This is a lithograph art print framed behind glass and features two complementing textured mats. We frame it in a bronze ornate wood frame (click on frame icon to the left), resulting in a classical work of art. The frame back is professionally finished with a clean backing (black paper) and includes a mounted wire attached to framing straps, making it ready to hang. The overall picture frame dimensions are approximately 21½" x 24¾" (inches).

The Image This is a classic image by the infamous artist Rembrandt van Rijn, who ranks as one of the greatest painters in the history of Western art. He painted the original in 1633 and is the only seascape that Rembrandt is known to have painted. It depicts the storm on the sea of Galilee where the apostles feared for their lives and awoke Jesus for help. After commanding the storm to stop, Jesus chastised them for their lack of faith. How we can relate in our own personal storms of life that no matter how tough it gets we need to never loose faith in Jesus to help see us through. See Luke 8:22-25.
